As you know well by now, I am a huge fan of Stubbs & Wootton Slippers. I have quite a few pairs that I adore, but I have always wanted bespoke monogrammed ones. Well, they have finally arrived and I could not love them more! They are so classic that I think I will wear them until I am 80 years old.

And I am Off to NYC

Well darlings, today I am off to NYC for the week to work on the Fall 2013 Collection. I am sad to leave my husband after such a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend surrounded by dear family and friends.

Thankfully, I will be able to entertain myself on the flight by shopping all the fabulous "Cyber Monday" sales while in the air (thank you wireless!) ... Net-a-Porter, Barneys, & Bergdorfs ...Here I come!

Giving Thanks

 

I truly have so much to be thankful for this year, but I am most thankful for the absolutely incredible people I have in my life from my husband, to my family, friends, and fabulous followers! I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with the ones you love.

Charlie Gardner + The Lunchbox Fund

  

Darlings, I am delighted to introduce you to a fabulous way to look good, for a good cause! A dear friend of mine has started a wonderful company, Charlie Gardner, which does just that. Recently, they have created these gorgeous weekender bags to benefit the Lunchbox Fund, which is a non-profit dedicated providing a daily meal to disadvantaged and at risk students in South African schools.

Not only is the Holiday season a wonderful time to give back, but these bags are utterly perfect for your busy travel plans!

Lately, I am absolutely loving the idea of layering up creamy winter whites, especially in chunky sweaters! I think I may need this Joseph sweater to perfectly complete the look myself.  Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day?

Last night I was absolutely delighted to attend blogger, Heather Clawson of Habitually Chic , book signing at the beautiful new SF design store, Hudson - Grace. I must say that in person Heather is truly just as chic as her blog! Her new book, Creativity at Work, is a gorgeous mix of inspirational photographs and stories behind creative work spaces. Not only is it a must read, but the gorgeous orange cover looks fabulous on any coffee table!

With an abundance of Holiday parties approaching, lately I have had cocktail dresses on my mind!  More specifically, I have become slightly obsessed with dresses with intricate back details. With stunning dresses like these ones, I can’t think of a better way to leave a lasting impression on those at the party as you walk out the door!

I am BEYOND delighted that the book I have long been anticipating, Vogue Weddings: Brides Dresses Designers is finally on the shelves! Capturing the abundance of stunning weddings, which have been featured in Vogue throughout time, this book is essentially the bible of bridal elegance. I only wish this book existed when I was a bride-to-be!

Fur for Fall

One of my favorite things to wear each Fall is a fur trimmed blazer. They always manage to look make anyone look classic yet chic. It is certainly the perfect touch of fur to sport before full blown winter. I have a tweed Theory Blazer (similar here) with a fur trimmed collar that I have had to restrain myself from wearing too much this season!
